I've just upgraded to Parallels 12 and tried to boot my Win10 partition.
When I tried to start Win10 it tells me the configuration doesn't match the partition and that I should create a new VM. Ok, I believe I can create a new VM from my partition without having to reinstall Win10 (am I correct?)
But when I go into the settings to do this, Parallels tells me that I have to resume and then shut down the current VM before I can do anything. But whenever I try to resume the VM it tells me the same series of messages - first about the configuration not matching, then that it cannot connect to Disk 0, then a couple of others... but the VM is obviously put into a suspended state and this is preventing me from doing anything with it.
So what can I do?
If I choose "Quit Windows 10" from the menu then it tells me "Unable to connect Hard Disk 0" and I can't do anything else - even clicking "OK" has no effect. The icon also intermittently disappears from and is re-added to the dock.
[I have Win10 installed on a Boot Camp partition, and though I usually boot directly into this, I'm talking here about running this partition via Parallels as a VM - sorry if I'm confusing my terms.]
