I have only created on VM and saved it. It runs ok. But: Everytime I re-open Parallels and the selection page comes up and I choose my only VM I get a caution window telling me its used by another instance of Parallels Desktop: I click on "yes" and all runns well, but it is disconcerting. Am I doing something wrong? Mac Pro 2.66GHz, 3GB
How are you shutting your VM down? Normal shutdown will delete the lock file and you won't get that warning. Just killing Parallels (or having a crash) won't. Shut down from within the VM first.
zixoda if you are sure that no any other instance of Parallels Desktop runnicg with same configuration - you can press 'Yes' button and save configuration again. Usually that message appeared when you shut down Parallels Desktop unclear or have no any other Parallels Desktop instance with same configuration opened.
