In PD8 is there any way to make the build in SD Card reader appear as though it is connected directly to the guest?

I know you can share the location to make the files available, however I need it to appear as though it is connected directly to the guest due to the way Microsoft decided to implement things in Windows 8.

I don't want to use an external USB card reader, which I already know will connect directly to the Guest with no problems, wondering how it can be done with the built in SD card reader on my Macbook?

I got around my particular issue by formatting the SD card on my mac, then creating a new virtual HDD on the SD card. I then formatted it as NTFS within my Windows VM.

I can access the files on the virtual HDD via Parallels Mounter, so it achieves what I wanted.

The reason I needed to do this was Windows 8 lack of support for network locations within the Microsoft Apps (Like Xbox Music, Video etc), otherwise I would have just shared the SD card as a network location which Parallels was doing anyway for me.
