    Hello,

Im running parallels on a Mac running OX 10.6 with Vista installed. Im connected to a network at work and I would like to access a shared Windows computer. In Mac OS, I can see and connect to the shared computer. In Vista, it does not appear as a network option. The internet works fine in Vista, so I am connected, but the shared computer does not appear

Thanks for any help...ill keep searching the forums

The network browsing may not work in Shared Networking (it is default mode), but it is always possible to type the name of the computer and open it. For example, if computer is named "storage", it is possible to open MyComputer and type "\\storage" (without quotes).

If you want browsing, try switch the VM's network card to "Bridged" mode. It is not guaranteed to work (because network environment should allow this), but most of the time it will.
