Connecting USB to Windows makes it incredibly slow

    Hello,
    I have an M1 Mac and am running a Windows 11 Vm through the windows insider program. I was trying to connect a usb to the vm, but for some reason every time I do it makes the machine so slow that it is unusable. I tried it with my Linux vm and it worked fine so I'm not sure what is causing the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
