I am running Parallels Desktop 7 on my Mac OS X. I got parallels in order to access websites/ software that only run on windows. I use it to run/ download software that allows me to run life insurance quotes. As of last week, when I tried to access one of these pages (I don' t need any specific software for this particular page. I input data and then click "get quote", and within the page, it'll run the quote and present it for me), I get an error message asking me if I would like to open or save (it shouldn't be asking me anything). Then when I selected "open", it tells me there isn't any program to open it and would I like to find one on the internet. I've tried it on regular PCs and it works fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling parallels. Also, I tried to download specific software from a website to run quotes. After going through the installation process, seemingly successfully, it gives me an error message when I attempt to access the program. It says it "has encountered a problem and needs to close." Help! This is the only reason I have parallels and I can't tell where the problem is coming from, and as far as my computer knowledge goes, I'm already in over my head!
