This is driving me crazy! I had to reinstall my Bootcamp Windows PD7 VM, and now every time I boot into Windows under PD7, I get this ding-dong 'installing USB Printing support', then 'Virtual USB printing', then 'installing HP Color Laserjet (which I don't have!)', then more USB virtual driver installs, etc. etc.
    EVERY TIME, it happens.
Can someone please help with this?

try going to configuration > Hardware > Print and uncheck everything there

Thanks but that doesn't work. There is only one thing to uncheck, i.e. 'Add All Mac Printers'. If that is unchecked, then you can't print at all, as all printers are removed.
This is driving me mad, as it goes through a whole 'installing USB printing support' and 'installing HP Laser Jet 2820' for every printer on the network (6!) each time Windows is loaded in PD7!!!!

Sorry for delay. New feature is brought with PD7 parallels tools - try to reinstall tools and see what happens

No, that makes no difference. Actually, I have a support case open for this now.
It's all very frustrating this whole Parallels support thing. I mean, it's taken almost 2 weeks on this thread to get nowhere, and on the support thread, it takes 2 days between each hint at a solution.
It's crazy that the Live chat option only works for the first 30 days.

Forum is not an official support channel. As per the support ticket - can you please tell me the Ticket ID?

That makes the situation worse! No phone support, no online chat support, and now, no promise of forum support! So, it's almost a case of 'if you have a problem, don't bother asking us about it'!
I can't think of any other software product that has this situation. I've been a supporter of Parallels for a number of years now, bit I may have a rethink after this current series of events.
Support number is 1332234. It may show as 'solved', but it's not.

we do have both phone support and chat support. And on forum I always try to find the possible resolution as far as it is possible without access to computer and local information

Phone support and chat only available at a significant cost. Very poor from Parallels. I have used the product through various versions now without any real problems, but now that I have one, I'm finding that support is painfully slow unless I want to spend even more money.

I am having this problem too. I went into the registry and deleted any keys and sub keys related to HP Color Laser 2820. There were multiple layers of keys and sub keys with no entries. I had to change permissions on all of them to be able to delete them. I thought I had a virus until I found this thread. I am not an IT person and had some concerns about messing with the registry but the constant attempts to install Virtual USB Printing and the 2820 were driving me crazy. I finally thought I had everything out, but guess what…every time I restart Windows 7 in Parallels, the color laser and virtual USB printing still try to install constantly. Where is this coming from? I am really fed up with it. Please, I need a fix for this!!!

i did this that found in another thread " This might happen when you often change your local printers (e.g. use your Mac in office and at home). I suggest to open Virtual Machine configuration --> Hardware --> Printers --> Uncheck "Share all Mac printers" " http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=260598&highlight=printer
    at the moment it worked
