Hi, after using Citrix XenApp over years, we now created another server farm based on 2x software. Only one application is published with 2x. Other software (like MS Office) is running local. In case the 2x-Application opens a pdf, Acrobat reade opens in the 2x session. Trying to send this pdf via E-Mail, the server opens the standard mailclient installed on the server. On Citrix you can define a content redirection for every published application. Is there any way in 2x too? Thank you! Best regards calogi
From the 2X Client Management tab in the Client Manager category you can manage the 2X Client settings policies for all the users on the network that connect to any server in the Farm. By adding 2X Client Policies you can group users and push different 2X Client settings and options to the users depending on the policy. From "Client Manager", click on "Connection Properties" and select "Advanced Settings" you can enable "Redirect Mail to this Computer" which will allow the program to open the mailclient on user's computer.
