Convert Cloned Hard Drive to .hdd file

    I cloned a XP hard drive. Is there any way to convert this drive to a .hdd file. When I try to point the VM to boot from the external drive, it doesn't allow me to click on anything. Is there a way I should be copying my drive to allow VM to boot this drive? Thanks!
