I have a Mac PRO (new) which died and sits languishing at the local Apple Store. My mistake for converting to Mac when I am a windows guy and can fix most standard PCs.

In any case I have several windows XP VMs that I would like to convert to either real windows installations on a new PC and/or run them under windows XP or Vista. Is this possible ? How to do it?

You need mac to convert virtual disk images to old format, and then use them under Parallels Workstation on Windows

In shot this process is really simple

    1. Use NT backup to backup the whole VM
    2. Install new Windows XP on real PC
    3. Restore NT backup
    4. Perform Windows repair on real PC
