I use Command+V to paste information from my Mac OS into my WinXP VM.

Whenever I do this, the info I copied from my Mac OS is pasted, but Parallels adds the letter 'v' to the end of it and then brings up the XP start menu.

    Very annoying.

    Have looked everywhere for this.

    Any suggestions?

If I let go of Command before V, it at least doesn't bring up the Start Menu

This is an improvement because the window i am pasting into doesn't lose focus.

    Lame.

I've been having this problem as well for about 6 months. Getting tired of having to use Windows shortcuts - my fingers get confused! ;-)

Hmm, sounds like an issue with your Mac Keyboard preferences. What do you have your keyboard preferences set to for delay, etc.? And do you have any Universal Access keyboard features enabled (Sticky keys, slow keys, etc.)?

For some reason, Parallels is seeing additional presses of cmd and v, which it shouldn't.
