I'm new to Parallels. I'm evaluating the software because I'm considering moving away from VMware to another Hypervisor. I currently have a trial version of Parallels for Mac. It's not going well...
The installation and setup of Windows 11 Arm was straightforward enough and the installation seems quite stable. However, copy/paste will not work. Oddly, drag and drop does work, but that's a much more clumsy way of moving files around. Copy/paste should of course work, but I'm unable to get it working.
I've raised a support case and tried many of the articles here, including turning on plenty of additional permissions, checking pr_cc.exe, removing and re-installing Tools (using the built in function and manually using the ISO).
I'm 100% certain that tools is installed properly and functioning because all of the other features that depend on Tools are clearly working when Tools is installed and clearly not working when I uninstall tools.
My guess is that Copy/paste is bugged and not working properly with Tahoe.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have some pointers for a fix, assuming it isn't a bug and just some configuration issue.
The support guys seem to be going round in circles, offering repeated suggestions, asking for technical report uploads that they don't seem to do anything with. At the moment, this is a deal-breaker for me and if I can't resolve something as basic as copy/paste, I don't have faith in the product and the support team behind it.
Perhaps this forum can come to my rescue?
