I'm running Microsoft Excel for Mac 2011, Yosemite 10.10.4, Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac v10.2.0, Windows 8.1 Enterprise Evaluation, and Microsoft Excel 2013. When I am using Excel for Mac and copy a cell, Parallels starts (if not already open) and spawns Excel 2013. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

    HiLtColPailR,
Please go to Virtual Machine configure > options > Un check " Share Mac Applications With Windows " > Restart Windows and let us know how it goes.

The problem is fixed, but I'm not sure what fixed it. I did Ram's suggested fix and the problem did not repeat. I then went back and enabled "Share Mac Applications with Windows" and the problem did not reappear. The only other thing I can remember doing other than Ram's suggestion is to respond to the Mac dialog box asking me "Where is prl_client_app?" by selecting the Parallels Desktop application.

Regardless, Thanks Ram for helping with this annoyance! Hopefully it stays fixed.
