hi guys, i have installed ubuntu via parallels 9 home screen and i'm using iso keyboard with my mac. but i couldn't find how to type keys using altgr ( for characters like " # { [ ] } " ) i had tried to map alt key ( from mac ) to altgr key ( to guest os ) in shortcuts window but nothing's happened. i have done a lot of search on the internet but found nothing helpfull. what can i do about it ?
i have seen something about right enter can act like altgr key but it didn't work either.. and, to press right enter for altgr is totally weird. why ? why can't i simply press alt or command key for altgr ?
ok guys, i've solved it on my own. no need to do anything outside the guest os. in ubuntu, you should only check System Settings -> Keyboard Layout -> Options -> Key to choose 3rd level -> Any Alt key then everything is ok
