I'm using Serif's MoviePlus on Windows 7 via Parallels 8 on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks. MoviePlus is a video editing programme, (similar perhaps to iMovie) that allows me to export and burn an edited movie to a DVD. By clicking 'Connect' on the Device menu, I'm able to do this using the MacBook Pro's optical drive. Another export option that MoviePlus has is to burn a virtual disk - an ISO file. Am I able to create an ISO disk image in Parallels?
yes if your software has the option to create an iso file then it should create without any issues. Parallels is perfectly capable of this. I use and Create ISO images all the time. After you have created your iso image its like a virtual CD. You can send and use it or open the ISO on your mac OS X and burn that way.
