    Hi All

Is there any way to image a laptop when all you have is a user account with no admin rights? I'd like to be able to put my work laptop into my macbook pro, the only problem is, I don't have admin rights on the laptop. If you can't do it, that's fine, I'll just have to live with two machines.

    Thanks

Technically, yes. Practically, if your work is not going to give you admin rights, in good ethics I cannot help you work around it.

So what was the point in replying? I'm not looking to do anything illegal, I just want to run two laptops on one machine...

In otherwords, go talk to your company about giving you admin access to your machine, or get them to install it on your Parallels laptop.

Are you sure it's not illegal? It very-well might be in their written policies, escalating privilages is usually not looked on enthusiastically by a company.
