Above halt is in a MacBook Pro 8,2 , High Sierra w/ supplemental update and Parallels Desktop for Mac 13.1.0 (43108).
Windows Bootcamp partition boots OK: it's a second partition on a new SSD w/ hybrid MBR. Restored from a Winclone backup, working since parallels 9 on old HDD. Already done: "Make Legacy Bootable" command. (EFI boot is not supported on MBP 8,2)
    SSD disk data:
"Found valid GPT with hybrid MBR; using GPT"
    Partition table printout:
    Disk /dev/disk0: 781422768 sectors, 372.6 GiB
    Sector size (logical): 512 bytes
    Disk identifier (GUID): ************************** (deleted)
Partition table holds up to 128 entries
Main partition table begins at sector 2 and ends at sector 33
First usable sector is 34, last usable sector is 781422734
Partitions will be aligned on 8-sector boundaries
Total free space is 262157 sectors (128.0 MiB)
Number Start (sector) End (sector) Size Code Name
    1 40 409639 200.0 MiB EF00 EFI System Partition
    2 409640 587219631 279.8 GiB FFFF
    3 587219632 781160583 92.5 GiB 0700

    Thanks,
    Fernando

    Does not work for me.

Very disappointing. Suggestion of Support was to completely deinstall bootcamp and parellels and start everything over again.
Considering the amount of software i have installed on BootCamp and that this will take me days to do, I rather not do this and return Parallels during the trial phase.

I think they should remove the "Boot Camp" claim in their advertisement as it is clearly not working in Parallels 13 and with MacOs High Sierra

Anyone knows if VMWare works better under High Sierra?

Yeah, there's no way I'm reinstalling Bootcamp because of a bug in Parallels. I've got enough problems with Microsoft telling me that I've installed too many times already.

Thanks for your help, but it kept halting on startup.
Also tried moving BootCamp Partition to the second HDD (spinning type, HFS+ first partition): Bootcamp boots OK again, the same halt w/ Parallels.

Hi @FernandoR1, please, make a report about the problem and send it to Parallels.
    Go to Menu->Help->Send Technical Data
If it possible, also write here number of reports

No change. Also not from the newly updated version of Parallels.
My trial period for Parallels expires tomorrow.

    In SUMMARY:
    - I have managed to get a fresh installation of Windows 10 to work
    - But none of the suggestions of Parallels Support allowed my to virtualise my existing "My Bootcamp" installation (Windows 10 Creator) on my Mac Air (running High Sierra) worked. I have probably spend a full working day *or even more) trying to get it running
    - As I have no confidence that a complete reinstallation of my Bootcamp (with numerous activation, updagrade etc) as suggested by Support will change the situation, I must disappointingly conclude that Parallels in its current incarnation is buggy and does not work for me (and probably others) who want to use their bootcamp installation

Thanks Paul, opened a support request under "Issue described in article 113342, BUT w/ a bootcamp partition dual-booting normally". The Ticket ID created to track your request is [Parallels #2462130].
Article 113342 describes the boot problem, so I've used it to be short. But it's of no help, since it relates to windows startup issues, recommending windows repair tools.
