I run a software product called Mathematica from Wolfram Research under parallels in Windows XP. Problem is that the cursor becomes invisible within Mathematica. I contacted their tech support and they said it was a parallels issue (certainly does not happen if I install the software on a Mac Intel or native Windows XP) They suggested that I turn on the cursor pointer trailing feature as a work-around. However this then showed up another bug. The cursor and trailing feature works, but if I maximize the screen either by typing alt-enter or maximize the paralells windows from the mac desktop, I can lolonger move the cursor freely. It slowly moves diagonally downwards to the RHS off the XP screen. I hoped the latest build would fix it but just downloaded and same problem. Please advise/help
I have the same problem. I have reinstalled the Parallels tools without the mouse synchronization tool. I now have to ctl-option to move the mouse from windows to Mac. I also have a lot of "split cursor" events where the windows and mac cursors both appear. That is resolved by doing a ctl-option and re-clicking on the windows screen. This is crummy, but, if like me, you gotta use Mathematica, it is functional. Good luck and please let me know if you find a better answer. jerel@cruzio.com
