Cut and Paste problems

I've seen this mentioned a few times here, but nothing seems to be helping my situation.

We've successfully used 2X to share Windows Explorer so that clients can access a folder on the server. None of our clients can drag and drop local files into the server's folder directly, though it seems like they should be able to. But most of our offices can work around this by simply cutting and pasting a file into the folder. The problem is that two of our clients (in different offices) find they cannot even cut and paste into the folder.

It doesn't seem to be an issue of permissions on the server, as all our clients have Administrator rights.

I was wondering if it could be a firewall issue in these two offices - if perhaps some port must be open to allow the cut and paste to work... but it seems like if the ports were incorrect they would not be able to connect at all.

I have gone online and read extensively about supposed problems with RDPCLIP.EXE and none of the suggestions have fixed this. The server is running Win2k3 and the computers are all running XP Professional, same as the ones in my office that connect and can cut and paste just fine. I've updated the .NET framework and done all the Microsoft Service Pack Updates and whatnot, but it makes no difference.

This seems like such a tiny thing, but really is completely crippling our project right now. Can anyone help?

Make sure drive redirection is available.

It seems to work as long as I tell 2X to bring over local drives. Oddly, it only seems to need to be set that way on some systems and others work fine without it.
