I have tried 3 times to create a new VM from a PC running Windows Vista and on each occasion the Mac has apparently aborted the data transfer after about 1h 30m of a 2h 30m predicted transfer time. The Mac is running Lion OS X 10.7.3. Can anyone suggest possible causes and solutions? Is the problem likely to be with the Host OS or the PC from which the VM is being imported? There is more than enough disk space on the host Mac.
