We are using an iMac and installed Parallels 5. We have Windows XP running as a VM and our other 2 computers can see the VM and can transfer files with no problems. We have Parish Data System of Church Office that can have up to five clients log into. We had no problems when we had all windows machines. I was able to install PDS Church Office on the VM and move the data files to it. If one person is logged on to Church Office no one else can log in. I have gone to the client computers and deleted the shortcut to PDS on the VM and also deleted the links to the VM network drive. I then re booted and re-established the links and proper shortcuts to the VM C: drive. I still have the same problem. If anyone has something similar to this how did you solve it or if can be solved. All the other transitions have been very smooth but for this one application. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thank You,

    Database Parish Data System append

    error dialog:
"unable to open database. Directory is controlled by other .net file.
    Directory C:\PDSData\lock
    File: \\Holyrosary\PDSData\data\PDOXusers.lck"
I have deleteed all p*.lck and p*.net files from all workstations and server and rebooted to no avail. Any guidance or suggestions.

    Thank You,
