I'm using Build 1892 RC2 on a MacPro 2.66 4GB RAM and i noticed when I did a Save As of my configuration it reads September 13, 2006 (Today is the 14th). My system settings are correct. I was wondering if anyone else showed that.

On another note, I have frequent Kernel Panics even with the nvram set to 3.5.

And an even stranger occurance...occassionally after I hard boot due to a Kernel Panic, Windows XP will disappear. What I mean is, I'll PowerOn, boot up just past the Windows XP load screen and almost get to the Desktop and *poof* it just disappears. Parallels doesn't crash, nor do I get a Kernel Panic, the Window XP just stops. I tried modifying different settings to try and get it to start, but no luck. Luckily I had a backup of the original so I did a little trouble shooting. I made 2 copies from my backup (Copy A & Copy B). I started up Copy A with no problems. I restarted Windows XP several times, because that usually causes a Kernel Panic (which it did). So I hard boot my mac, open up Parallels and I get the same symptoms of Windows XP stopping just short of the desktop. Now I open up Copy B, which is pre-Kernel Panic, and it starts up with no problems. I don't know where the problem is, but I figured I tell my story.

I suggest you to wait our fixed version for Mac Pro & iMac Core 2 Duo (kernel panic free) or set nvram to 2/2.5 for a meanwhile.

    Mine Does this too

I was running the latest RC on a Macbook and noticed that the dates were off. When I went back to the release version, the problem still exists.
