Hi, There are a couple of guys I'm trying to support out in the field that each have a MacBook Pro running Parallels. They each have their networking set to bridged (default adapter) but when neither is connected to a network one yields 169.* guest IPs while the other yields 192.* guest IPs. They guy with the 169.* addresses is asking me how to make it return 192.* addresses like the other guy's system. I read in the networking FAQ post that the 'default adapter' might actually differ per OS X settings and I've recommended they test explicitely assigning it instead. I've not yet heard back from them and figured I'd throw a post out here to see whether it got any nibbles in the meantime. Thanks, !Jeffries!
