I've only been using Parallels for a couple of months, so I haven't fully mastered it. However, I have consistently run into a problem with using Parallels in Full Screen mode and then selecting "Use all displays." I've searched through the forums with no luck finding a similar issue - but then again there are hundreds of forums so I might've missed something that searching did not turn up.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional on my MacBook with OS X (10.6). When I'm running Parallels in Full Screen mode on one monitor, I experience no problems. Once I go to View and select Use all displays, my background on each display goes solid black and my desktop icons are no longer visible.

Any ideas what's causing this? How to adjust it? I suppose it's not the world's worst problem to have, but it does make for a depressing computing experience staring at a black screen... not to mention usability is hindered by not having access to desktop icons.

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated! Also, if this topic has been previously addressed, could you point me in that direction? Thanks!

I have had the same issue. It only happens under 1920 X 1200 resolution too.
