    Hello,

Had an XP VM running on Parallels Desktop for Mac 4.0 under Leopard Server with the VM on a secondary drive. Wiped system drive and installed Snow Leopard Server, then re-installed Parallels Desktop for Mac 4.0.

When I went to open the .pvm file it opens the initial window and never gets to anything Windows related. All buttons across the top including the "start" button are all grayed out. When I run prlctl it says the VM is "starting" but it never does. The mounter complains about the drives being read-only, but everything is read-write.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any thoughts on how to get this VM to actually run again?

Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening here?
