Hello. I installed Parallels for Mac this morning as I will need Windows for a school class.

When it tries to download windows 10, I get an error that says "the downloaded image might have been damaged during installation" with options to cancel or try again. I have tried again multiple times, getting nowhere. Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.3 Parallels for Mac 13

I have checked that all are updated, plenty of disk space, restarted a couple of times. If anyone could help, I'd be VERY happy. I have just one part of a school project that is due tomorrow, and I need this to finish it. I apologize in advance, but please use small words, pictures help.....I am an utter amateur at this stuff! Thank you!

  2. Hi KristenG. Please download Windows 10 ISO file from here. Once the file is downloaded, follow the below steps to install Windows 10.

    1. Follow the steps from this article with "Express installation" unselected(uncheck the check box) and continue with the installation.

    2. If prompted to enter the activation key, please select "I do not have a product key" and continue with the installation.

    3. Once Windows is installed, please install Parallels Tools manually by following the steps from the article - http://kb.parallels.com/115835

    4. Activate Windows 10 manually.

    * Click on the search bar, type "See if Windows is activated" and select the appropriate entry in the list.

    * Click "Change product key" and select continue.

    * Enter the activation key and click "Activate"
