I thought I just submitted a post regarding this issue, yet I cannot find it, and it's not being tracked under my user_cp. If this is a duplicate, sorry.

In both OS X and the guest Windows VM, I access the same folder containing numerous files. I currently have the share setup using Parallels .PFS, set in the VM Configuration panel under Shared Folders (User-defined Max OS X folders).
(Mac OS 10.5.8, WinXP Pro SP3, Parallels 5.0.9310)

If I make a change to a file under OS X, such as changing content, renaming, or even deleting it, in the Windows folder view, no change is automatically detected, and I have to press F5 to refresh the window.

Is there any way to configure Parallels, OS X, and/or windows so that files changes made under OS X are immediately reflected under WinXP?

Under OS X System Preferences > Sharing > File Sharing, I have enabled AFP. Would enabling SMB help?

Should I share the folder directly in OS X, perhaps with SMB, instead of through Parallels?

Is there something the Router can do to push file changes to the VW?
