Difference between "Control Version" and the &quot

What is the difference here?

I have a colleague who just upgraded to 6.2 (automatically via the 2X client). However, his control version is 5.2, whilst the main "about" version is 6.2.

This differs from my PC, where both versions are 6.x.

5.2 is the version of Remote desktop client installed on his/her machine.
