I just recently bought Dragon Age: Inquisition, which unfortunately is an Origin only game. I've seen on other forums that previous versions of parallels have not worked well with Origin. However, the first time I launched the game it worked completely fine. Then, while in game I changed the graphics settings, and the next time I tried to start the game I got an error message related to directx and the Parallels Display Driver (WDDM). The game requires directx 10 to play, which is supposedly supported by parallels 10. Up to this point I have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling parallels tools, reinstalling parallels desktop for mac, and reinstalling windows. Nothing has worked. Is anyone else experiencing this problem with any other games and does anyone know of a solution.
i had the same problem, but resolved it by opening up the game as administrator (right click on the inquisition icon and choose 'run as administrator'). hope this solves your problem like it did for me.
