Just installed Solaris 10 on my 15" MacBook Pro through Parallels. Works great besides the 1600x1200 resolution on my 1440x900 display. I already did the following:

    1. login as root run: kdmconfig
    2. choose: Xsun server
    3. Select: Change Video Device/Monitor
    4. Then start selecting the type of monitor.
    Here is what I tried
: XF86-VESA Unknown Vendor Unknown Board
    : Notebook LCD XGA 48 kHz (800x600 @56Hz and 1024x768 Interlaced)
    : 15 inch
    : 1024x768 - 65536 colors @ 60Hz

Just was trying to get a 1024x768 res, but no change was made. Still same 1600x1200 resolution.

Has anyone figured this out to get a 1024x768 or 1440x900 resolution on their MBP?

    Thanks so much!

Could someone post their config file or something?
