DMG of RC2 broken

RC2's DMG doesn't open on an Intel IMac 17''.

Any ideas? I've downloaded the archive several times. No success.

Try downloading it with something other than Safari.

 

Download via wget. Us Terminal, type

It's a timeout problem caused by server overload. Firefox does the same thing. I tried command line tool: curl timed out, too, but wget worked it's way through it.

i tried browsers "other than safari"...same problem..'
i did the =>pause download trick and that's how i finally got the .dmg.

now i have a new problem, the key i rec'd today after my purchase, doesn't work on the latest release...

That key is for the GA version. You have to get a key specifically for the RC version. Visit the download page for details.
