I have Parallels 8 running on OS X 10.6.8. Recently I installed realMyst, Riven, and Myst III: Exile on it without problems. (These were from binaries purchased from GOG.) I've installed Myst IV: Revelations using the DVDs that I bought several years ago, and once installed, the program stops every time I try to run it. No errors, but it stops. I've searched and see some old posts that Revelations doesn't work on Parallels 5, but I can't find posts about later versions. Has anyone tried Myst IV on Parallels 8 (or any version after 5)? Since I'm not getting any dialog box with errors or anything like that, are there any suggested trouble shooting steps I might take? I see some posts that it's working on VMWare Fusion, but I really don't want to have to switch or start using two VM programs!
