Does published app have to reside on 2x server

    Does the published application have to reside on the same server as the 2x software?

    We have apps which reside on 2000 server and are not sure if the 2x software should be on 2000 server or can 2x software be loaded on one of our 2008 servers and "point" to the apps on the 2000 server

    Hi there,

    You can have running 2X ApplicationServer on 2008 server and then add another server into 2x farm, and publish apps from there.
