Does spawing another app from 2x app eat another license?

If I'm running my application from 2x application server, and my app invokes MS word to open a document, it opens in a separate window on the client, which is how I'd like it. But does the MS Word window use another 2x App Server license? I wouldn't expect it to but would like specific input on this. The 20 'thin client' license will do us for starters, unless spawning a child application uses another license.

I just reviewed the pricing page and it seems that the application server product is not tied to client sessions. So one can't run out of licenses, for a single server? I must have been reading the ThinClientSever section.

    Hi,
We have a 10 TSCALs and 3 users are accessing more than 60 app windows, multiple IEs, multiple office apps etc.
    License is User based.
So, the bottom line is , you can have multiple instances and depending upon the number of license you have, it won't be a problem.
