I have followed all the steps in the blog post, Writing tools works fine under the Mac. But on a Windows 11 VM, I see the "Writing Tools" menu entry under Edit on the Parallels toolbar, but when I highlight text and click it, nothing happens - nothing comes up for the tools choices. I tried it with Word, WordPad and Notepad.
Upgraded to macos 15.2 today and confirm that writing tools do not work for me. Selecting the text and pressing the shortcut does bring up the writing tools interface, but (1) typing in a text box within the menu does not work (ie text does not appear), and (2) trying any command to rewrite etc. results in a popup with "Writing Tools Unavailable. Try a longer Selection". Tried within several apps in Windows 11, same result. Tools do work on the same text within macos. I remember trying the tools briefly weeks ago and remember them working. I believe I have updated PD20 since then to the latest version and have not tried writing tools after the update but before upgrading the macos. Reinstalling Parallels Tools did not help fix the issue for me. Does anyone have the same issue or have a proposed solution?
