My MacPro Nehalem has 2 internal writers and Parallel doesn't see both. Is this fixable? Annoyingly they both have identical ID numbers according to Toast etc. making it difficult to assign them.

What are the options under Configure window, CD/DVD-ROM item?

In the Pop-up menu, both drives are listed, but it seems you only have the option to select one or the other.

Try adding second CD/DVD-ROM to the hardware section in virtual machine configuration.

To do that, navigate to Configure Window and press the "+" button at the down left corner.

Once you see two of them:
    CD/DVD-ROM 1
    CD/DVD-ROM 2

make sure that each is configured to use different real device and check if both are now available on the Windows side.

Thanks for that Desgael. The Configure Window "+" and "-" buttons are grayed out.

You have to stop the virtual machine first (shut down Windows). You can not make a hardware changes while the system is running.

That's great support. Both drives visible. Thank you. What was confusing is that as the drives are Apple installed, they both have identical ID's, making some experimentation needed to select the extra drive. Thanks again.
