Hello, I am using Parallels Desktop for Mac 12 and have an installed Windows 10 Pro, my Parallels is configured to share mounted drives with Windows 10 via smart mount and I am using a Synology DS916+ with a shared folder with several sub folders. The Synology is connected on the Mac OS X 10.11.6 side with afp://synologynas and can be seen in Windows 10 as drive v:\. The problem is, that within the share (v:\) is just one folder "Installations" and this folder is displayed twice in Windows, not on the Mac side. I can enter either of the two folders and see the same content. When I create a new folders the new one is displayed two times (the old one no longer) and when i delete it, both entries go away so in short the newest fodler is displayed twice and gives the problem to the next newest created folder. the problem does not occur in the sub folders only on the root and only in Windows. What is the cause, what can I do to fix the problem? Disabling the smart mount is not an option, since the Mac Book sometimes connect to the Synology from outside my home and it would be too much work to always connect the drive manually on each of the operating systems, depending on where I use my Mac Book. ANother side note, the problem also happens on my iMac with identical operating systems and versions. Thanks in advance!
