Hi! I'm having trouble with my published applications when I run them on Linux (Suse 10.1). Dropdown menus are show twice just beside each other, I'm suspecting it has something to do with XGL/Compiz but I cannot figure it out. Photoshop tool windows are also show two of same kind... Any thoughts? //
I think this has to do with the menu bar being at the top. That was the case on my Ubuntu install with 2x. Once I put the menu on the bottom the double menus within the launched 2x app went away. It does seem like something that should be fixed, but that was the workaround that was suggested to me. Rob
Double Menus Hey Rob! I read your post earlier but the thing is your problem was that you could see two menus, one just under the other due to the gnome menu bar being in the none standard location. My dropdown menus (the overlay ones) are shown in the middle of the screen and only when i run compiz/XGL on the the desktop..... So they are completly off and always in the same spot.... It's like the XGL thingy just drops the menu in the middle of the screen due to lack off positining data or something........weird...
