Hi all, I've installed the 2X ApplicationServer on Windows XP Pro without any problems, and it works like at charm now. Well, at least for some apps. I'm using the appserverclient for Linux to connect to the server. But with many applications I see "double" windows. I've included some screenshots to illustrate the problem (click for full size): Photoshop (very obvious) Teach2000 (look at the right of the menu and of the window in full size) With "Teach2000" it differs from time to time how obvious it is, but in Photoshop it's always the same. If you can help me: thanks! -- Albert BTW: It's not because of Beryl (red diamond, top-right of screen). It is now deactivated, and I have exactly the same problem in Metacity, Blackbox and XFWM4.
The problem seems to be with the fact that the task bar is on the top of the screen (which is the default on Gnome desktops). Try and move it to the bottom and check if it solves things.
Yes, that solved the problem. Thanks! I now set my top panel to auto-hide and it now works. I love the appserver
