Download Completion - Please for God's Sake

An increasing number of videos that I try to download via pasted URL, appear to download all the way to like 99.9999% or even 100%, but fail to complete and just hang at 100% to never finish download. I would assume you could detect exceptions, errors or at least offer the nearly complete file (partial) for consideration of use. I've even searched high and low for this file in "cache" or temp to see if I could intercept, but it is highly frustrating to feel as though you had a successful download and then fail at the end.
