Hey all, newbie here, first post.

I know you can use parallels with dual monitor support, but i was after something a bit more interesting.

I want to use my Vista VM on my secondary monitor fullscreen (No problem). But i also would like to use a separate Keyboard & Mouse to control the Vista VM. So i would have 2 sets of Keyboards & Mice, 1 for Mac & one for PC.
The idea is to have it as if they were 2 separate machines. My wife is often on the Mac while i need to do work on the PC, with this ability, we could both win and i would not need to purchase a second PC!

There is one more issue i could see apart from capturing a seperate keyboard & mouse and assigning it to the VM, that is the screen regions. For example, on the Mac when you reach the right hand side of the screen, the pointer should stop and not go onto the VM's screen and Vice versa (although i don't think that will be a problem in the VM)

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

No problem, use USB mouse and Keyboard and from devices USB - connect them to Virtual Machine

    Thanks for the reply.
Good to know you can use a separate Keyboard & Mouse. But will parallels stop the primary mouse pointer going over onto the secondary screen? Or is there 3rd party software that might do this?

You cannot limit primary mouse to go to Windows screen, I suppose it is impossible even using third party software
