DVD drive not recognized in Virtual Machine

    I'm using Parallels Desktop 8 with Windows 7 Profeesional 64 bit. I have a mid 2009 15" MacBook Pro 2.8ghz, paralles and windows 7 installed fine. Now when i try to open up a DVD/CD it says there is no disk in the drive. Please help

    The information in this knowledge base article should be helpful http://kb.parallels.com/en/113543
    I realize it was for Parallels 7 and Windows XP but it should work for Parallels 8 and Windows 7.
