Have installed a DVD playback plugin for Windows media player which works fine under bootcamp , but will not work when running under Parallels . Should it work and does anybody have DVD playback working under Parallels ?
What error do you get? I get an error when trying to use WinDVD but the error relates to how WinDVD uses overlays and the current video driver in Parallels simply doesn't support such video overlays.
Am using an Nvidia plugin for Windows Media Player 11 . I get sound but no picture . I guess its down to the overlay problem ?
Hi, If I remember well, the nvidia plugin needs an nvidia card, which Parallel does not emulate. It emulates a standard VESA 2.0 card.
