I very much appreciate the x86 emulation available in version 20.2. I would like to see the following features added.

    (1) There is a limitation that emulation can only be used with VMs created with Parallels Desktop 19 or 20. Since the VM was created on my older Intel Mac, neither PD 19 nor 20 can be used. Their system requirements require macOS Monterey or higher, but I cannot put them to my Intel Mac.

    (2) I strongly request that Parallels emulation be available for older macOS as well.

    Thanks,

    Hi @TadahisaS ,
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
I'd like to learn more about your use case:
    1. What's the operating system do you have inside the old VM? What would you do with this VM if you had a chance to run it in Parallels Desktop 20?
    2. What actions are you going to do inside a legacy macOS VM? What macOS versions are you interested in?

    Thank you for your reply.

    1. I have an old VM created with Parallels Desktop version 16, Windows 10 (22H2, 64 bit) is inside. I am currently using Windows 11 (arm64) on Parallels 20 and am happy with it. I found out that Parallels 20.2 can use Windows on my old VM and tried it. Unfortunately, my attempts have failed.

    2. What i really want to use is legacy macOS. I keep a lot of files created by apps that only work on legacy macOS. For example, I want to use Apple Works and SuperCard, but these apps do not run on current macOS. My VM has Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (Server) inside. 10.6 is the only macOS that does not run on UTM. If Snow Leopard would work on Parallels, it would be very worthwhile. Even if its running speed is slow, it would be of great value. Don't you think so?

    Best regards,

    P.S.
