    Hi there,

Hope someone out there can help!! I have Leopard 10.5.2 and am running Parallels. Within Windows XP I have a program that requires me to use Function keys 10, 11 & 12 but I cannot seem to find a way to make them work!

I have found various posts regarding this being a problem but it seems that some people have found a way round (even though not a shortcut!) but they seem to be developers and I am nowhere near as literate as they are it terms of remapping my keyboard and wondering if anyone thinks they can help by explaining it in laymans terms! I have noticed something like Actions > Send Keys but this looks as though it is specific to a dev program.

    Many Thanks! xAmie

Had the same problem. Actions > Send keys > F10 works, but is laborious, to say the least. But there is a work-around:

Within Parallels/XP hit the Apple-key and (simultaneously) the appropriate function key. If this doesn't work, change to OS X, open Sys prefs > Universal access > Keyboard and uncheck Enable access for assistive devices, change to Parallels/XP and try again. Got this trick from http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=13866

    HTH,
    Richard
