Running Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit on PowerBook Pro under Parallels 5. Virtual machine gets 1 processor and 2 GB ram. Just bought EndNote X3 for use with Word 2007. I made a large EndNote library which saved and loaded correctly for about 24 hours. Now that library and back-up copies I made will not load. In addition, fresh attempts to create new libraries with similar contents have resulted in initial ability to save and load the library followed by inability to load the library. The error says that the library appears to be damaged. It suggests that I make sure no other user has write-enabled access to the library. It suggests I try the library recovery tool, which has failed to recover any of the references. Does anyone have suggestions regarding what could be causing such frequent problems with loading (and saving?) my EndNote X3 libraries in Windows 7 under parallels? Thanks! Brian
I have the same problem when I run Endnote X3 in Parallels but not a) with previous versions of Endnote and b) under Mac OS. The same version of Endnote X3 in Mac environment recovers corrupted librarires fast and easy. However the most annoying is that when I try to open new library, Endnote duspyas windows saying 'Endnote error". Nicolai
