Envelope Printing Problem using 2x client (through 2x app se

Hosting customers with 2X can't get print preview for an envelope to go to #10 envelope size from certain applications. Specifically, we are dealing with our own app which uses Microsoft Access 2007 Runtime.

It looks to the printer being used to see what page sizes are available before it will generate a preview. the 2x universal printer is missing envelope printing options, thereby causing an issues. It does not have an envelope feeder.

It's a killer issue for us, we just deployed 2x APp server gateway across 4 terminal servers and began switching users to it (over 90 people). Many of them print envelopes.

 

Yes, by default "2X Universal Printer" has no predefined page size "Envelope #10", but meantime you can easelly add it manually.
Please do Start->Settings->Printers and Faxes->2X Universal Printer->Properties. In the dialog choose "Additional" tab and there press button "Additional properties". In the new dialog choose "Paper Size" tab and there press "Add" button. In next dialog enter name for your custom page size (e.g: My envelope) and set neccessary page sizes (For Envelope #10 they are width: 105 mm, height: 241 mm). Close all dialogs. After this you new page size shoud be available in any other applications.
