I have a Mac Mini 2012, replaced the HD with an SSD loaded with OSX Sierra. Wanted Win7Pro but could not do it through Bootcamp (Sierra version of Bootcamp will only load Windows 10), so I purchased Parallels Desktop. Here are the issues I could not solve after 2 days of research, reading, and re-loading: 1. Using Microsoft USB keyboard, Logitech USB mouse, mouse behavior is extremely erratic first in Windows applications (only some, but notably Office), but also in OSX Sierra. Mouse lags behind, OR jumps all over, OR will not move accurately. Keyboard seems fine but in some apps (Outlook for instance) suddenly will not type more than 1 or 2 characters before the program freezes up. 2. Tried Logitech patches, Parallels forum fixes, Parallels configuration changes for hardware, etc. NOTHING WORKS. 3. At best the mouse is erratic. It may work for awhile, but then goes nuts in some program either in Windows or Mac: erratic jumps, freezes, terrible scrolling control in Windows. 4. Caution to buyers: you may not notice that the parallels literature does not clearly explain that in Parallels desktop Windows cannot make use of more than 8Gb of RAM. Support has been unable to help. In this instance, Parallels has been a complete waste of time and money, though in advertisement and theory, it should not have all these insoluble issues
Hi ParallelsU50, Make sure the virtual machine is in shut down state. 1. Open virtual machine configuration. 2. Switch to Hardware tab > Mouse & Keyboard > set Mouse to Optimize for games. 3. In Hardware tab switch to Boot Order > extend Advanced settings > in Boot flags box paste the following flag: devices.usb.mouse=0 And let us know how it works.
