    Hi everyone,

I have got a Major problem which I cannot solve. I recently ran out of disk space in my Linux (Mint 09 Isadora) VM. I was unable to resize the VM disk because Parallels stated it was not possible because I had one or more snapshots and that I had to delete the snapshot to continue.
Actually I had one snapshot of a clean installation which I duly deleted. I then changed the hard disk size of the VM and tried to restart Linux. Linux will not restart any more and I just get the following error:

    INSTALL PROBLEM
The Configuration defaults for GNOME power manager have not been installed correctly. Please contact your system administrator.

I am in the middle of a Masters Degree Dissertation and now really have a problem if I cant get Linux working again.

    Please can anyone help.

    Many thanks,

    Lee
