error installing parallels 4.0 v 3540

    Every time i attempt to install this i get the following error:
    Failed to configure the boot camp partition's hard disk. a disk configuration error has occurred. make sure that you have read/write permissions for the disk.

    Had 0 issues with 3.0.

    Running 17inch macbook pro with 2 gig of memory and 2.17 intel duo. what do i do?

    1. Disconnect all external devices.

    2. Remove Parallels by means of the Uninstall application.

    3. Repair disk permissions using the MacOSX disk utility.(Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility -> select Mac HD -> Repair Disk permissions

    4. Restart the MAC.

    5. Install Parallels.

    6. Restart the MAC once again.

    7. Create a Boot Camp virtual machine.
